The special teams problems continue...a blocked FG after that INT.
NIU gets it back at their 35 with about 3:30 left.

Because of the botched snap, I don't think it made a difference, but....
Did you see that graphic on the huge jumbotron right behind the goal posts? How distracting must it be to try to kick into that (or pass into that)?
Okay, so now we see what Wake's defense is made of....

TD for Thomas Hammock, who looks like the player of the game so far to me. PAT for Azar, the runner-up....
Wake needs a TD. Can they do it?

TD for Ovie Mughelli. Hold the phone on the player-of-the-game awards -- Mughelli has looked pretty darn impressive so far too.

Touchdown for Wake, but can they convert the PAT?

Wake might be going for two. They've called time to talk it over.

They stopped them!
Wake loses on a 2pt conversion...42-41!

Absolutely horrific special teams cost Wake the win, and the ACC it's perfect OOC record so far.

What a gutsy call by Jim Grobe...you can't fault him on a call like that. They had missed 3 kicks earlier, and the offense just couldn't get it in on the conversion.

I personally like the call to go for two. Maybe it's because I don't have to endure my team losing, though.
