"Lost" fans
What did everyone think of wednesdays season ender?

Who do you think they were talking to on the phone?

I like the fact that instead of flash backs they had a flash forward.

RE: "Lost" fans
The person on the other end of the phone was maybe Dharma-related. Someone coming to find out what happened to the Initiative.

I thought the last 2-3 months of the show have been great again, after season 2's mess. I'm glad they showed no reruns.

The flash forward was interesting because I didn't have a clue until the end that it was a "forward". Who do you think was in the casket?

They really revealed a lot over the past few weeks, but there is so much yet to learn.

It's really going to be a LONG 8 months waiting for the next episode... :(

The coffin is supposedly small.. so it could be Ben or a child

RE: "Lost" fans
I actually had a strong hunch that it was a flash-forward before Kate pulled up. His beard (which they never showed in any flashback) and his "You don't know what I've been through" line to the new doctor made me go 'hmmm....'

So I wonder if that flash-forward is set in stone (i.e. it must happen) or will Jack have to make a decision that can possibly "avoid" that scenario. I can't imagine that they'd spend some of the last 3 seasons taking the story to the mainland.

If Locke knew something when he had Jack at gunpoint, why didn't he say something instead of being so vague?

I'm wondering what will become of Ben once they find out that the "rescuers" aren't what they are supposed to be. Many of Ben's crew are already dead.

I'll miss Charlie's character.
