My brother just informed me that he is better than Reddick, and that we're also getting an awesome player from Maine??? Anyone know anything about that?

Gilchrist is a point guard, Reddick is a shooting guard, they play different style games most of the time. I think the "reports" of Gilchrist having an attitude problem have been blown out of proportion by certain Duke fans, but he has been known to play with flair and attitude.

We have 5 recruits coming in next year, Gilchrist, McCray(shooting guard from Maryland), Caner-Medley(small forward from Maine), Garrison(power forward from Maryland), and Jamar Smith(JUCO All American SF/PF from Allegany Community College). You can find some good info on them if you go to www.terphoops.com and click on the 2002 recruiting section.

Duke has 6 recruits coming in, all of whom are pretty highly regarded. Sean Dockery (point guard from Chicago), Reddick, Shavlik Randolph(SF/PF from NC), Shelden Williams (PF from Oklahoma), Michael Thompson (Center from Illinois, I think), and Lee Melchionni (small forward from PA?). Dockery, Reddick, Randolph, and Thompson were McDonald's All Americans, and Williams is generally ranked in the top 10- but was suspended from his team for part of this year so was ineligible for the McDonald's game. Melichionni is probably going to redshirt next year though I think.

If you click on our committed recruit's profiles on Terp Hoops, there are also some video clips of them. It's a very useful site.

Has anyone besides a few EXTREMELY anti-Maryland posters on the Duke board heard that Johnny G has attitude problems? I've heard he plays with "attitude", but not that he has attitude "problems".

Nate:

Oh God there I go again. I'm a little dizzy..a lot actually. Ok let's try this again..I somehow mixed up Gilchrist with Reddick so I thought that Gilchrist was going to Duke and Reddick to UM. So I thought Gilchrist would fit in there (Duke) because of his attitude problems. Are you confused? I know I am! I hate being blonde sometimes.

Its ok C4S25, at least you're not a brunette who's parents accuse you of being blond. And you probably new before Nov. that NC states colors were red and white. (Ok I can't believe I'm admitting that but oh well)

Lol..thanks BLAKESGIRL and Nate! and Amy I don't blame you for not knowing the colors! I probably don't know a half the colors of all the teams, at least in all the conferences put together. Grr..maybe I should dye my hair.
