I wouldn't want Tom Coughlin. He gets tons of bad press from players who don't like to play for him. I'm sure recruits have probably heard all about that - why would anybody want to play for Tom Coughlin voluntarily? I dunno, if I were an SU fan I wouldn't be excited at all about Coughlin.

Syracuse is the 13th winningest program in the country, we have a very strong Fanbase and only stronger if we could get a win every once in a while. I just don't understand how this has happened to Syracuse how we go from a conference championship in 2004 to this

Syracuse has to consider who they are playing. Iowa and Washington are BCS school. Syracuse needs to offer some 1 and 1's to MAC schools and load up on the cupcakes.

well, than i guess tom o'brien must be hurting for recruits as well. people will play for coughlin because he can get them to the nfl, similar to wannestadt. if coughlin is coach that program will resurrect overnight, brings credibility, winning (see jax), and he can flat out coach.

If I were SU, I would look at Skip Holtz as a possibility to be the next HC. He is doing a great job at ECU

well i guess you know recruiting like louisville knows defense, ask the recruits why they go to virginia, pitt, georgia tech, first thing out of their mouths is he's coached in the nfl and he knows what it takes for players to make it to that next level.
