Southern Illinois beat Northern Illinois 34-31 after NIU blows a 17-point lead in the fourth quarter.

Northern Iowa beat Iowa State 24-13.

Last week, lost in the shadows of the App State-Michigan game, Nicholls State beat Rice 16-14.
