We will know a lot more about Southern Cal after tonights game, I think Nebraska is overrated and SC will win relatively easily. As of right now I would probably put Oklahoma at number 2.

Why? They've played Miami and North Tejas. Who would you put at #1? As for my pics, UF and LSU look like the strongest two teams in the country to me. I was also one of the very, very, VERY few on here that was saying UF was going to win against OSU because OSU hadn't played a defense as fast as UF's. I was vindicated from hell and back on that one. 41-14? 03-nutkick

Obviously you didnt watch their 5 play 96 yard drive in 2 and a half minutes against the vaunted black shirts.

In other news, Michigan is clearly not the worst team in the country, at least this week. 03-nutkick

nah, they just beat the worst team in the country. They still may be second worse though.

didn't USC end up destroying Nebraska? We all know how hard it is to win on the road.

RE: Um, two best teams in the nation?
Pretty much, I fell asleep when USC went up big but it looks like Nebraska ended up scoring 3 touchdowns in the 4th quarter to make it look a little more respectable at 49-31, I dont know if USC put the scrubs in or not, but maybe that defense isnt quite as good as everyone thought they were. Look at the rushing avgs for their top 3 backs though, wow

S. Johnson 11 144 13.1 32 1 0
C. Gable 4 69 17.3 40 0 0
S. Havili 2 52 26.0 50 1 0

If they can run it that well, Booty isnt going to throw it enough to get the Heisman.

they put in their 2nd team D, allowing Nebraska to score 2 TD's in the last 4:23.
