I can see UC competing for the BE title.

SDSU sucks, good win for Cincy but nothing to beat your chest about. Any top 25 should handle SDSU that way. BTW I am pulling for Cincy to have a awesome season, I kind of developed a soft spot for them during the C-USA years. Always a lot of tough nosed, blue collar type kids that played great as a unit. Does not seem like the kind of team that is made up of a bunch of individuals who all want to be the star.

Just out of curiosity, why did Cincy schedule a game clear across the country? This is not a putdown of SDSU but it doesn't seem to make much economic sense. Congrats to Cincy and USF!

I would assume recruiting purposes, but not entirely sure.

I agree. We don't need the west coast talent, but we'll take it. Guys, go back and watch the UC o-line. They are good. nuff said. GO BEARCATS!

The only thing that scares me is our secondary....too risk vs. reward. We lead the nation in interceptions but also seem to give up large chuncks of yardage on passes.......UofL and WVA will exploit, USF will as well. Rutgers is more of a running team but all said, I'm worried.

So far our defense has played the team we're playing. I think we'll be alright. Kerry Coombs knows what he's doing.

As long as Cincinnati has Haruki Nakamura in the secondary the Bearcats should be fine. Y'all just have to hope that the younger players will be able to step it up, and they probably will, after he graduates.

The series was signed at the time Mark Dantonio was coach and Dantonio was recruiting the West Coast.
