I know there will be some different opinions, but here are mine, the home teams all win this week.

La Tech at Nevada, Nevada finally wins against La Tech in a close hard fought game. 35-31

SJSU at Boise St, Boise State wins in a closer game than many will think. 38-33

Utah State at Fresno State, Fresno State wins big. 52-17

NMSU at Hawaii, Hawaii wins by double digits. 45-10

Idaho gets a much needed week to heal.

I can respect your pics (especially since I rarely pic my team to lose to similar opponents), but of course, I beg to differ. It depends on how our players respond to the road, but I think we've got the ball rollin' now. If our running game is on like it was against Hawaii, I predict a convincing Tech victory: 38-17...if our defense gets tired and we turn the ball over and have many 3 and outs, Nevada: 28-14.

As for the other predictions, I agree with you. However, I think USU might give Fresno more of a game than they want. It won't be close, but it won't be a huge blow-out.

I think your prediction on the Boise State vs. San Jose State game is off the charts. Boise State is embarrassed about how poorly they played last weekend against a very ordinary Diviision I-AA team at home. I sincerely doubt you will see the same poor effort out of Boise State this Saturday that they put forth last weekend. Boise State will be out to prove something this weekend against SJS. Also, there is the matter of that extremely close game that SJS gave BSU at San Jose last year.

Additionally, the last time San Jose State played in Boise the score was 77-14. I think that may be more along the lines of reality for this weekend's game (although not quite that bad).

I'll also have to disagree with you about the La Tech vs. Nevada game. I'm going to pick La Tech to win that game. La Tech has not had much problem with Nevada in the past. I'd expect that to continue.

The other two games I'll agree with you. And at least Idaho can't lose another game this weekend.

Nevada is 1-4 vs. LT and 0-4 as a member of the WAC. With exception to last years 38-21 Tech victory, Nevada and LT have played tight and high scoring games.

To say they have had their way with us is not accurate. Now Boise St., ya'll have had your way with us the past 5 years!

That's true....except for last year, La Tech has had to come from behind and win games with last minute FG's. Most games have been barnburners!

I must say the Nevada/LaTech game is the game of the week for the WAC. Being bias. I say it'll be 38-17 Tech. But I haven't seen Nevada play this year...so it can be the other way around.

From the Hawaii game, looks like Tech has once again established a run game. Our defense has also stepped up...ask Hawaii how many yards they ran on us?

Nevada/Tech game will be a tough game for both teams and I think an exciting game with stuff going into it. What happened last year down there and then how Nevada collapsed here two years ago could be over Wolf Pack's heads for this year.

I think Boise will win more comfortablly than against Portland St but I also think SJ is showing signs of growth and just needs some athletes because looks like they are buying the system.

I expect Fresno to have a good game against Utah St and Hawaii since they are back in the islands should win that one as well.

Safest bet in college football this week: Take the 30 points and San Jose State.
Boise State has a huge target on it's back and every team gets up for the Broncos.
Boise State does not appear to have the hunger for respect they have had in the past.
Now they are the team on top that everyone is gunning for.
They relished the roll of underdog, but now they are The King that everyone is trying to overthrow!!!!
