Boise State's Jared Zabransky has really struggled at times this season. But yesterday's game was an example of how good he can be (even tho he did overthrow several receivers very badly yesterday). Against Utah State, which very effectively shut down the Boise State running game, the Broncos were forced to rely on Jared Zabransky's arm and he delivered quite well, thank you very much. 04-cheers

Zabranksy's Passing Efficiency rating for the Utah State game was a very, very respectable 171.16 rating (39 attempts, 26 completions, 328 yards, 4 TD's and 0 INT's). That is Zabransky's best game of the year so far this season. Although his P. E. ratings against San Jose State and Bowling Green were also pretty respectable (156.36 and 157.69 respectively). Against Hawaii, Oregon State and Portland State, Zabransky's P. E. ratings were 131.18, 134.64 and 132.77 respectively. And of course he had the abysmal game against Georgia at the start of the season when he put up a P. E. rating of only 34.59.

But he has improved his Passing Efficiency rating every week so far this season. Check it out:

Game # 1. vs. Georgia - Zabransky's P. E. rating was an awful rating of only 34.59

Game # 2. vs. Oregon State - Zabransky's total P. E. rating jumped from 34.59 to 102.55 with the 134.64 P. E. rating he put up against Oregon State.

Game # 3. vs. Bowling Green - Zabransky's total P. E. rating rose from 102.55 to 119.24 with the 157.69 P.E. rating that he put together against Bowling Green.

Game # 4. vs. Hawai'i - Zabransky's total P.E. rating rose again from 119.24 to 122.85 with the 131.18 P. E. rating that he put up against Hawai'i.

Game # 5. vs. Portland State - Zabransky's total P. E. rating rose from 122.85 to 124.99 with the 132.77 rating that he compiled against Portland State.

Game # 6. vs. San Jose State - Zabransky's total P. E. rating rose from 124.99 to 130.08 with the very respectable 156.36 P. E. rating that he had in the San Jose State game.

Game # 7. vs. Utah State - Zabransky's total P. E. rating rose from 130.08 to 137.93 with his best game of the season (so far) and his P. E. rating of 171.16 against Utah State.

One can only wonder if his P. E. rating will continue to rise every week this season. If it does he will have made a remarkable improvement from that horrible start against Georgia. 04-bow
