IF true Steve KRAPthorpe needs to suspend OLB Preston Smith
Quote:"I'm going to call him out now. No. 6, and I don't know his name, spit in my face," White said. "I feel that's the worst thing, the worst type of disrespect, you can do to anyone."
No. 6 is senior linebacker Preston Smith.
"I don't care to know his name," White said, "but I would like to meet him again."
White, who completed 16 of 25 passes for 181 yards and two touchdowns and averaged 6.1 yards on 24 carries and finished with 147 yards rushing, said the incident occurred in the third quarter.

If White wants to meet a Louisville linebacker, I suggest he brings his fullback Schmidt with him.

That wasnt the only dirty deed by the Cards last night. There were 2 players that kept tackling a WV player who was nowhere near the ball. They tackled the kid at least 3 times, and they got called for it, and a WV got called in the almost brawl that proceeded it.
I have been following Louisville fb since it was official that they were coming to the BE, and I have never seen such behavior from their players. It may have simply been frustration because the season.

i saw the kids head motion as if he was spitting, and then I saw White patting an official trying to get his attention. What a dirty classless act. he was dumb enough to deny that he spit at him. Maybe some one should send this lynk to the ad.

i mean it's certainly not 100% conclusive, but it doesn't look good, and he should get some form of punishment, let's see how kragthorpe handles it. either way white got the last laugh though.

I can NOT stand players who spit on somebody. That is equal to slapping them in the face. Be a man and say what you have to say, but you're nothing but a punk and a loser if you spit on somebody.

That video is inconclusive at best, and I am surprised that White didn't get in the guys face nor did any of his surrounding teammates. I'm not condoning what Smith allegedly did, but you would think that it would have illicited a stronger reaction from the Mountaineers that were all standing around White.

I've seen players spit on and not have a stronger reaction until they see the video later. These guys were in the most important gave of the year up to this point. Also, a lot of the players probably didn't see it, assuming it happened.

Exactly. Only one other WV player, standing to Pat White's right saw it, and at the very end of the video, you can see that player also trying to flag an official as well. Its a good thing that other WV players did not see it, or it might have gotten ugly. The reason that it did not get a stroger reaction is because no one else saw it, not even louisville players, and WV is a very disciplined and smart team, especially Pat White. I dont think I have seen any WV players lose their cool the last couple of years, which is good compared to the Chris Henry and Pacman Jones teams. The video maybe inconclusive, but you know something happened.

And not only would it be out of character for Pat White to lie about it, he also would have no reason to lie about it after the game.
