I wish that you could show how tickets were moving on stub-hub. Seems like nothing much is moving. The market should pull down the cost. Some prices would be ok if the seats did not suck.

Yeah, StubHub is a rip-off. Add 10% per ticket handling fee and $25 shipping and the prices are ridiculous. Tickets don't move fast on StubHub. You basically post there to make easy money off people willing to pay a premium (or dumb enough to mistake those prices for market value). Most folks have their price automatically reduce each day until the last day before the shipping deadline. If they don't get their bottom price, the tickets are shipped back to the owner (you have to actually send your tickets to StubHub to list them). This sticks the owner with the tickets in hand with only a day or so to sell them. You'll see a lot more short listings and "local pickup" listings on eBay on Thursday. You'll also see more people selling at the arena.

yeah - but my wife is a nervous nellie. so we are paying the price for going with tickets in hand for the next two weekends. we did hedge our bets and bought well before the selection yesterday so the inflation is not so bad.

there will be tickets on the street in little rock for sure. friday should be easy to find, sunday, not so much. but i think Twice is correct in that many texas fans may sit this one out in anticpation of houston games, much like florida fans did in NOLA last year

That isn't exactly true. I listed tickets on stubhub and didn't have to send them in. If you want to extend your sale date past the cutoff then you send them in.

So, how strict is the scalping in Little Rock? It's illegal, but do they really enforce it like in Atlanta or New Orleans?

Crap....

I would love to see him and his new wife and all, but I would also like to head to LR to see the Tigers play. Easter weekend and all....

Needless to say, the wife will not hear of it.

I have already informed her that NOTHING will interfere with watching the Tigers in the NCAA tourney. Not waiting on the kids to arrive Friday nite, not Sunday brunch after church....NOTHING.

I may be sleeping on the couch for a month. but eventually it will blow over...

visit on saturday. whats a 2 hr drive anyways?

RE: little rock tix
Prices are coming down.

I am bringing wife and 4 kids!!! I can't go to Houston due to work, so I am willing to spend a little.

We will split either 3 & 3 or 2 & 4. One set low, one set high.

Current thought is buy Friday and scalp sunday. If it don't ease up, I will scalp all.

Worst case, two or three of us go Friday and all Sunday. Not gonna be sucker and pay high dollar for crap tickets.

Reality well set in on the stub hub folks Tuesday.

Hotel is booked. Does anyone know a tiger section? Also does anyone know what face value was?

My parents got scared and pulled out. I told them worst case is stay in Little Rock two days on my free points and watch in the hotel. Pops said he would rayher watch his plasma.

I want to be involved in the national championship run.

Something I noticed on eBay today: A few people scooped up strips only to turn around and put the Session 1 tix right back up for sale. I guess there will be plenty of Moo State and Tiger fans duking it out over the next two days.

Yeah, the Session 1 tix started showing up heavily on eBay last night which made it easy for me to decide to buy Session 2 and Session 3 tix separately this morning.

I bought Session 2 tix from a friend who is an Oregon alum and football season ticketholder. If Oregon wins, I'll have an extra pair of Session 3 tix. If Oregon loses, I'll have my Session 3 tix and the Oregon tix that I paid face value for.

If Oregon wins and my brother-in-law doesn't use the first right of refusal I gave him on them, I'll be posting on here Saturday with two tix for Sunday.

I owe ADallasTiger a beer for posting about the possible Oregon tix for the public. That spurred me to call my old friend. He didn't actually get my message until late Monday night. He called the Oregon ticket office on Tuesday morning and they still had tix and were still taking orders from Duck Athletic Fund members, so I got lucky.

I just got 3 upper all-sessions for $600 on eBay. Now I'll just cross my fingers until they get here...for the third straight year.
