RE: Penn State getting hosed again
I hope Penn St makes the NC game, but at this point they haven't been hosed. Tech deserves their #2 spot for now but they have 2 very difficult games with OK and OK ST ahead of them, and finish with Baylor, then have to play the B-12 Championship game besides. If they win out they deserve to play in the championship game. On the other hand Penn St's schedule is fairly weak to finish. If Penn St finishes undefeated, Tech looses one and Bama looses to LSU and Penn St doesn't finish at #1 or at least at #2, then they have been hosed. The only poll that really matters is the final one so let the season play out.

RE: Penn State getting hosed again
I like JoePa's reaction to all this. He's made it clear that this wouldn't be news, or an issue, if a playoff were in place. He's a proponent, as is our new President. He's also made clear his annoyance over questions about speculation over matters he has absolutely no control over...

For those, and other reasons, I give JoePa... 03-2thumbsup

I'm also glad he went on his rant instead of answering the question. I'm sick of sports news being nothing but speculation, and opinion about speculations...

This type of news is BECAUSE of the BCS. It sickens me... 03-puke

I was about to post the same damn thing. Scary how we think so alike - other than the team we root for.
