the album is, IMO, really good. It's just a lot of fun. not to mention the music video to that song is so cool.

This is a great effort by Common - and just when I thought that he was going to fall by the wayside with his music.

I've always liked Common better than Kayne or any other Chicago rapper you care to name (twista looking in your direction), he has good lyrics and good flow and now he has some tracks that you can bump because of quality beats.

let's not great crazy. he's always had really good production. In fact, i could argue that he has the most consistent catalog in hip hop history.

so many people hated on it, including the critics, but i really think The Neptunes and Mr DJ came through with some real heat.

Common is no dummy. He sees what happens to some rappers when they put out albums with too many cooks in the kitchen. Common sticks with who brings it - it seems he has an ear for music when some rappers have an ear for what people tell them is hot.
