Sure, at places like Alabama and Georgia ... it might as well be just like high school. But at places like Stanford, Georgia Tech, and Navy .... it's decidedly more demanding academically than any high school. Pros have nothing to do but football ... so they can get away with it. And uh ... oh yea ... they're paid.

There are easy majors and tough majors at every school. I think your argument about specific schools is pretty darned weak... Also, is a 16 game schedule for football really that much worse than the 50+ game schedules for baseball? Baseball players seem to do fine at these specific "more academic" institutions, so why can't football players?

This is absurd logic. Nobody complains when college basketball teams play Road games 1500 miles away on a school night.

And as far as you statement regarding UGA and Alabama, thats just retarded.

Yeah, I'm thinking there are more medical doctors coming out of Georgia that GT. Nice try and a failed slam.

Same thing as those weekday college football games. They of course have tutors who go in and take notes for them... hand them to them .... and if they're at Georgia take the exam for them, assuming it's not a "Don't attend and you get an A anyway" Jim Harrick type exam.

I'm thinking MCG graduates more doctors than Emory and most UGA Pre-Meds go to MCG in Augusta. Afterall, the first medical school in the state of Georgia, dating back hundreds of years, was the Medical College of Georgia, right here in Augusta. Try again.

Stick with Astrophysics.

BTW, MCG, for those that didn't know, is the 13th oldest medical school in the country.

Also, GTS, you should think about that as your first president was......an MCG Grad who was born in Augusta.
