Thanks. An All BE final four would have to mean that Syracuse comes out of the southern region because SYR is our only rep. in that region. I guess we'll hve to take North Carolina to six overtimes, foul out their key players, and send hansborough home crying to his moms again.

If it goes down to 6th OT, I like Cuse's scrubs vs. other teams' scrubs LOL. People that are hyping Memphis is also taking their last year's performance into consideration. Evans is good, but he is no Derrick Rose.

People also forget UCONN won majority of 1st half games without Stanley Robinson. While he struggled a bit at beginning, he is showing his true talent last few games. He basically has to take Dyson's place on the UCONN lineup. The kid is one of the most gifted player athletically but he needs to get some confidence in his shots. I really do think fate of UCONN run will rest on how good Robinson will perform in the NCAA. If Cuse game is any indication, the kid can play a little.

The kid from Maryland said that Memphis would have a losing record in the ACC....before the game.

Just hilariously stupid...nice win by Memphis today...I think you might be the 6th best team in the Big East 03-lmfao j/k

And that might not be that bad 03-lmfao

Seriously, Memphis could finish anywhere in the top 6 this year. The next two rounds will tell. You could be #1 or #6...think you are definitely better than a James less Marquette team...Pitt, UL, UConn, Nova and Syracuse are all in the discussion with Memphis.

Someone on this board finally giving Memphis a little love:badger:.

Wish the Mounties had fared a bit better; thought they could beat Kansas; maybe Dayton will.

Congrats to Memphis on a great win. That being said, Maryland was on the bubble and finished 7-9 in the ACC. They are the 7th ACC team in a conference that's basically a fraud. To put things in context, it is like UCONN beating up on Cincy or ND.

There will be plenty of tests left. I hope to see UCONN vs. Memphis. I am sure most UCONN fans love to beat squid. Calhoun/Calpari hate goes back a long way during his UMASS days.

Whatever dude. Memphis just beats whoever the NCAA puts on the court.

Memphis destroyed Maryland. The same Maryland team that beat North Carolina, Michigan State, and Wake Forest this season. They aren't great, but they are obvioulsly very dangerous.

Cal vs. Calhoun would be great, but we have a very dangerous Mizzou team first. Mizzou has won 30 games and beat USC, Illlinois, Oklahoma State, Kansas, Texas, Marquette and Oklahoma. That's pretty sporty.

Mizzou is dangerous, and a better team than I was giving them credit for a few weeks ago. They better hope Memphis doesn't shoot like they did yesterday though or they don't stand a chance.

After thinking about it for a few days last week I put Memphis in the Final 4 in my bracket with a win over UConn in the Elite 8. So far both teams seem headed for a battle next Saturday, but there are no scrubs left. I think all 16 teams could lose in any game now at this point.

Why it doesn't surprise me to see you pulling against the Huskies?

If I were you, I would go worrying about your Cards first. I wouldn't be too surprised if Zona takes you guys out if you keep up the way playing midmajor Siena. Best team in the BE.. LOL

I have no love lost for UL, but you make yourself look foolish with comments like that. Didn't UL win the regular season championship AND the conference tournament?

I thought I already explained this a zillion times on this thread? How do you have a true champion with an unbalanced schedule? Why don't you go back and read the thread? UCONN and Pitt have to play each other twice.

RE: What Would Be Memphis' Record in the Big East?
Not surprised to see comments from Husky that make him appear to have the maturity of a 10 year old. Where did I say I was rooting against UConn? I never did and in fact root for all conference teams before conference play and in the postseason. I picked Memphis in a near tossup when I was trying to pick a bracket that would win me some cash. I can't help it if UConn's starting guard is gone. That sure doesn't mean you can't make the final 4 or more, but it hurts. Unless I'm still in the hunt for my bracket to finish in the money, I'll root for conference teams over the bracket as the tournament goes on. And as an aside, my Elite 8 has 5 conference teams in it.

I'm certainly not going to post back and forth about your team's failure to win the regular season or conference tournament championships. Those UConn failures are old news, its NCAA tournament time.

The problem is Huskie is that then you came out and said we would see what would happen in the BET. Guess what we won that too.

BTW, you thought Villanova would take us out in the BET. We won that game by 14 points and won every BET game by at least double digits. Fact is right now we are still the BIG EAST Regular Season and Postseason Champion and consensus NUMBER 1 team in the country.

We'll never know what the record of Memphis would have been.

What would ND's, Cinci's, PC's or GTown's records have been in CUSA? Maybe they would have all been tourny quality teams
