o he is?

well if you have clients at the nfl draft, and go to the final four as a business trip, and sometimes have clients look for a coaching job at the final four .. then you are a sports agent or work for one ..which makes you a sports agent ...

guy may have jumped the gun on a few things and was wrong about a lot of things but surely he did not totally lie about his connections ..

or did he?

just playin devils advocate here

he did say we were gonna get Coleman at least a couple of wks before he honored his commitment. also said, we wouldn't be able to hold onto any other recruits which wasn't a great prediction.

he didn't have to post here. some posters guided him to this board, and i really appreciate that. now i guess i've to read another board, the cbs board, along with this one and memphisroar. sigh...

So that "job" that you attend to....is it really being an agent in New York pushing football players through the draft?

if I recall he said he was not a sports agent.

he is in he business:

The great thing about the NFL draft is I get to interact with my colleagues in a way I usually don't. At this point the competition has ended and the work of placement begins. With that being said we get to interface in a jovial atmosphere. The final 4 is that way as well if you don't have a coach currently up for a position or other things like I had this year.

Link for total context

dude is trying to cover his tracks because he has said too much , I am sure others in his business are giving him some pressure for revealing too many secrets ...

he is either in the sports agency business or he is a complete liar ..

Ned, you've been around here long enough to not be that naive. I could tell people that I'm on Beyonce's security detail, but that doesn't mean it's true.

I guess now this will just be an ordinary fan site.

Well, it was fun while it lasted.

the influx of new guys with an attitude (yes i realize there are alot of new valuable posters too) is not a good thing, and I wish there was just a tad more regulation...alot gets posted here as "just an opinion" which is nothing more than thinly veiled bashing. I know its why I have quit reading/posting as much the last week or two

NEW GUYS?!? From what I have seen it is the OLD GUYS who give everyone such hell. I guess they are scared they might lose their precious spots in the message board heirarchy or something. And I would be willing to say None of these MESSAGE BOARD BADASSES would open their mouths if they were face to face.

I wonder how much longer even B'ham will be willing to post here....

Some of you people should be really proud of yourselves. Do you treat others this way in real life or is internet anonymity the sole reason you're such asses? I suspect the latter.

the nastiness has definitely not been all of the new people. In alot of ways the board "veterans" have been the most embarassing recently.

maybe they've been around a lot longer to see posters like CTG come and go... i don't think calling the veteran posters out is a good idea.

1. I agree that conversations would be much different face to face.
2. There's a ton of finger pointing going on in this and a couple of other threads about attacks, etc.
3. Could someone give examples in a respectful manner of what is considered an attack or "give everyone such heXX". I'd hate to think that some of us that think we're part of the solution are actually part of the problem. IMHO, it's all about treating others with respect and speaking as if you weren't behind an invisible keyboard. Keyboard heroes are a dime a dozen, and we've been lucky not to have much more than a nickle's worth here over the years.....that part's for humor.
