Can't get into the new-aged folk music either. Only people I know that listen to it are new hippies, vegans, and liberals.

No. Little Feat is not Simon and Garfunkle. Little Feat played some of the best music to come out of the New Orleans sound...

I love Little Feat. I've seen them twice in ATL. I don't know that I'd call them folk though. Here's my style of country/folk/Americana:

Swoosh, Little Feat was a band out of New Orleans. The band was a creation of Lowell George, who used to be seen playing guitar on the 1960s TV show F-Troop. They had a lot of influence on many bands from the 1960s, including the Stones, Clapton, Hendrix, and a host of others...
