I agree. Nothing against rivals, but the more the merrier. For some reason, there are several rivals posters that like to take the TU line all the time (and obviously are employed by TU) too much. They are pretty defensive about any criticism of the AD's office. Some of us have been blasted for criticising the way Bubba schedules, the way the stadium was "redone" or how the program is promoted. To me, just like our "entrenched" politicians, criticism is sometimes a good thing. TBH, although I've posted my political positions on things several times, I think ITS' crossfire board is a little distracting to the athletic discussions. I'd like to see it dropped and go to maybe a spring sport/womens sport board to promote some of the non-rev sports at TU.
This board could take off a little if some of us who post on rivals would do it here as well. Sort of a "die hard" group that keeps things going. I'm not sure I want serious competition for ITS because of recruiting info there, but this could be a "crash pad" when ITS has gone too ballistic or too boring or too repetitive.

No reason not to have both. I have to admit I forget to come over here to see if anyone is here. I loved the YouTube of the 2008 team. I will start checking here.
UAB has a board here with a lot of traffic I visited before last years opening game. It was interesting to get their ideas about us wo the much smack. CUSAbbs is a pretty good board to get the thoughts of the rest of the league. I know one thing, I have less respect for Rice now than before because of their comments on the CUSA board. What a bunch of losers. No wonder TG got the heck outa there. Very little class from those fans (or should i say "fan"). Houston is a mix of good and bad. UTEP has a serious crush on us IMO since we usually beat them except at their place in fb. SMU seems oblivious to the rest of the league or is afraid to post since they are pretty bad. Tulane? Who knows.
Would be nice if this board was more active, easy to check here and CUSA board at the same time. I'll check on it everyday since I look at the CUSA board . Rivals isn't as much fun as past boards have been, but we've lost a few of those posters unfortunately.
Couple of things are in the works, might take a little longer than originally thought, but from what I hear it will look nice. Some things include a more URL friendly web address and new skin.
