Yeah. That's a real murderers row you've got going there, striking fear into the hearts of college football fans everywhere.

Please! Just more fun with numbers.

Look how good Michigan is doing since Rich Rodriguez brought in Big East football.

Stick to the issue. The Monarchs are not part of this discussion. I never mentioned them.

RPI is as always a joke. I still stand by that Sagarin does the best job and always has:

Code:
.  1  PAC-10              (A) =  79.78      79.07  (  2)     10
   2  SOUTHEASTERN        (A) =  78.77      79.14  (  1)     12
   3  ATLANTIC COAST      (A) =  76.55      76.35  (  3)     12
   4  BIG EAST            (A) =  76.13      76.27  (  4)      8
   5  BIG 12              (A) =  73.96      74.60  (  5)     12
   6  BIG TEN             (A) =  73.47      73.99  (  6)     11
   7  I-A INDEPENDENTS    (A) =  71.91      70.18  (  7)      3
   8  MOUNTAIN WEST       (A) =  69.31      69.84  (  8)      9
   9  WESTERN ATHLETIC    (A) =  66.65      67.75  (  9)      9
  10  CONFERENCE USA      (A) =  64.90      64.40  ( 10)     12
  11  MID-AMERICAN        (A) =  61.97      61.80  ( 11)     13
  12  SUN BELT            (A) =  59.20      59.12  ( 12)      9
  13  COLONIAL            (AA)=  58.65      58.45  ( 13)     12

RE: Check out the latest conference RPI ratings
Sagarin isn't too shabby. I've got to give him credit for that. At least he bases his ratings on fact. Although even his rating system has its flaws...

Like I always say, a computer ranking is no better than the programmer makes it. Sagarin is probably the most accurate...

That said, there's no way the ACC is stronger than The BEast. We've still got 62.5% of the conference with a 75% winning percentage or better, and only 15 points separate UConn from being unbeaten, instead of the 4-5 record they currently possess...

I doubt the Pac Tin is better too...

I actually agree, the Big East has several solid teams, the ACC has Georgia Tech and a dumpster fire.

At least we're still in the race, Terpy. Where are the turtles? They're moving at a snail's pace again this year...

I love how every discussion at this freakin place devolves into "oh yeah, you're team stinks!" when my team has nothing to do with the discussion at hand.

Look dude did I not pretty much rip the terps already in this thread?

Quote:the ACC has Georgia Tech and a dumpster fire.

The terps are the gasoline in that dumpster fire.

The inbreds have a real shot at going to the BCS if they finish strong. I made a legit, factual based point and you come back with terps stink. Its just juvenile.

Me thinks you're the one who needs a thicker skin.

I don't worry about sh!t, Terpy. Once you've lived on death's doorstep for a few years waiting for a transplant, there's nothing else that's worth worrying about...

I knew you dumped on your team, and I figure the Fridge has outlived his usefullness at Maryland. Frankly, I'd like to see y'all competitive again. We have to play you guys for the next 4 years, and a lousy Maryland team will hurt our RPI...
