Feinstein Has It Out For Rutgers
He is dead on about Navy giving all the pregame details...so me thinks Schiano was guilty of lying. He also does run up the score when given the chance.
The rest sounds like egos clashing. Plus 98% of head coaches are control freaks.

RE: Feinstein Has It Out For Rutgers
Here's a better question to ask him. Who the f*** are you and why do you matter any more than anyone else? Seriously I've never heard of him before. And we've always been classy with Navy with the exception of that one time. I have never personally witnessed the team and staff not being classy with Navy and since 2003 I've seen every game against Navy in person both down in Annapolis and in Piscataway. There was that one other incident with a half a section of students a few years ago but the bandwagoners have learned since then to always keep it classy with the Academies for the primary most well known reason and the fact that Army-Navy, Army-Rutgers, and Navy-Rutgers rivalries are the oldest active rivalries in all of Division 1-A football.

Hail Brista!
Listen, I realize you feel the need to defend your school, your coach, and your AD. No problem. But the latter part about Army-Rutgers and Navy-Rutgers rivalries being the "oldest active rivalries" is bull.
The Scarlet Knights have played Army 36 times and Navy 23 times. Rutgers went 50+ years without playing either academy from the 1910s to the the 1960s. That does not make them "rivalry games" no matter how you slice it.
Cheers,
Neil

I don't disagree LOL
I have never liked the guy sice his openly negative recruiting against the Cuse early in his tenure.
I think Feinstein is a pompous ass...but he also has many good takes.

I would agree they aren't rivalry games the better term would have been series. And in hindsight the Michigan-ND and Miami-Cincy series are older than those 3.

Yeah like Robinson didn't tell Arthur Jones he would never go to a bowl if he went to Rutgers. That worked out well.

Never heard that story maybe because he committed back in 2004 before Robinson was hired. At least he didn't lie like Schiano did.
