HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. - Junior guard Charles Jenkins (Queens. NY) scored a game-high 32 points while junior forward Greg Washington (Centereach, NY) set Hofstra records for blocks in a career and a season to push the Pride past Drexel, 75-64, in a Colonial Athletic Association matchup Wednesday evening at the Mack Sports Complex.

Freshman guard Chaz Williams (Brooklyn, NY) came close to becoming the first player in Hofstra history to post a triple-double, adding 20 points, nine assists and eight rebounds as Hofstra improved to 13-13 and 6-8 in conference play. Freshman forward Halil Kanacevic (Staten Island, NY) just missed notching his fifth double-double, compiling nine points and 10 rebounds off the bench. Drexel, which was led by junior guard Jamie Harris with 19 points, dropped to 14-12 and 9-5 in the CAA.
