1. Wow...an ECU fan thinks they're more ready. That's been what a lot of ECU fans have been telling anyone that will listen over the past week. It appears they're afraid they're about to be left out in the cold.

2. Anyone who thinks this round of expansion is about anything other than money has their head buried in the sand.

3. ECU fans love to throw out the attendance from a single game...it appears in virtually every arguement they make against Memphis. Nevermind the game was played (a) on a Tuesday, (b) with horrible weather, © during a horrible season, and (d) during a week when a LARGE number of fans consciously and openly decided to skip the game to make a point that Tommy West needed to go. It was a collective sit-in spread across the homes of Tiger fans. (I was stuck in a meeting with the mayor and aldermen of a nearby city...but I probably would have protested too.)

Anyway, pleading your case online is a joke. The decisions are made by people who aren't going to take (or waste) the time to read everyone's sports blogs and message boards.

Well don't all bloggers believe their school is the best, just saying. And well ECU is better then UCF and Memphis on the field, fact.

all Wolken does is insult other CUSA schools to get "clicks" on the CA website...he doesn't push Memphis to a BCS conference...in fact, i'm sure he hopes we don't get in...that will give him plenty of hit pieces he can write.

the only reports out of Memphis are a denial from RC Johnson and a denial from FedEx.

Orlando TV and Tampa Radio are the ones reporting crazy stuff.

Memphis remains committed to the conference we helped found, Conference USA.
