Joe Rod, it wasn't long ago that many UCF fans, sports writers and media around Orlando had UCF and Memphis set to receive an invite before the week was out... So many reports came out of Central Florida that the BE had to issue a statement denying any offer was being extended to either UCF or Memphis. Thus the egg on the face....

As for UCF to the Big 12, I don't think that would happen in 20 years or ever. Like ECU, UCF's best chances are in the BE.

Again, I hope both ECU and UCF get an invite. I'd like to see Houston as well. All three would be a good addition. Also, congrat's on your two most recent commit's.

BTW UCF's class just got a helluva lot better because Damarcus Smith a 4**** QB from Louisville just committed. He was previously committed to Louisville.

Seriously!? Why? He didn't put just the Big East, he put the Big 12 as well. Both are conferences are conferences UCF has a "reasonable" chance of getting into in the next 10 or so years. If UCF doesn't get into the Big 12, is thus writer going to "look silly"? Hell no! It will just be something that some writer wrote that means nothing more than the fact that UCFs recruiting class this year can hold it's own when compared to those conferences (according to Rivals)

congratulations UCF.

The rankings are quality and quantity based, so UCF gets a boost by signing more guys than anyone else in the top 50 besides South Carolina (a handful of other schools also signed 29). I don't know details on whether you have a ton of seniors graduating or what, but it's a nice class overall.

Rivals recruiting rankings actually only count the top 20 recruits for each school.
