NOTE: This the Big East Expansion has been a regular topic going back to 2003 and almost every day since (because Big East stop at 8 football teams...most knew they would have to add more), the ECU threads were rightfully so...because even to this day, ECU is a potential Big East expansion candidate....but they just didn't have a good year in football (went 6-6) and still have major problems with their basketball program (which might be improving finally).

That way you wont feel as if you and your fans are being unfairly treated. Its as simple as that.

Edit: I think people are just looking for consistently and not arbitrary restrictions without the useless and condescending "get out if you don't like it" attitude. Especially when it is an expansion board where potential candidates would be naturally discussed. If anything, the prudent and logical action would be to make a thread for each of the potential candidate's accomplishments. Not just single out one school because there happens to be a lot of tangible things to talk about to bolster the merits of inclusion.

I'm fairly confident "BCS" is being used in the context of the conferences who have an automatic bid into a BCS bowl, not just a conference under the umbrella of the AQ/non-AQ schools. Either way, yes we are 9-2 and 0-(infinity).

Right, I was being snarky. The proper distinction is BCS AQ and BCS non-AQ. That would be the distinction, not BCS and non-BCS since all 11 conferences in FBS are BCS schools.

It's funny how fans of different teams view things. I would've sworn that ECU fans were treated much harsher when they pimped their stuff..."stop", "move to the C-USA board", etc. was what we were told. Personally, I felt this thread was actually somewhat forgiving... a "you aren't a BE member but since you are the most likely expansion candidates we'll give you a separate thread rather than making you take it elsewhere out of our faces..." kinda thing. Almost felt it was the board mods caving somewhat to whom they thought would be the next member...which is their right and I have no problems with it. Just found it odd that UCF fans still found something to complain about. Like I said, everyone sees it differently.

PS. UCF will be the first college to play in both the NFL and the NBA. We turned down an MLS offer because we are holding out for the Premier League. The future is bright down here.

I just said I felt others were treated differently. Just an observation. Certainly didn't complain about it as it's the Mod's board to do as they please....and maybe my view isn't correct anyway. Dude keep your non-ucf observations out of our UCF thread. They have a whole board dedicated to non-ucf observations, don't clutter our thread up please. You are always on our rivals board trying to interject your weak thoughts into our UCF celebrations. When ECU gets ranked in basketball or football I will not interject UCF opinion into those threads, I promise.

LOL, Im glad that you posted this. I dont know where UCF fans get off thinking that they are being singled out, especially when a couple of their own fans sarcastically, said that they should have their own forum over here. But we gave them their own thread so that they can update us on any of their future accomplishments, rather than hijacking other threads or starting new ones. BE fans who want to know anything about UCF can come to this thread to get updates. Now, ECU fans may feel a little slighted by this. I can see how you guys may feel that way. I think UCF is going to get another test from Umass before sweeping thru Cusa. The Atlantic 10 plays good bb even though Umass maybe a little down from the last several years.

True, UMASS will be a tough game. I think Marshall, UTEP, USM, UAB, and Memphis will all be much tougher games than UMASS though. We beat them by 20 last year, which I can't say for any of the CUSA teams mentioned. We won't be sweeping through CUSA whether we win or lose tomorrow. I'd be happy going 13-3 in conference.

I havent checked up on any of the other teams, but Memphis and Utep may be the only test imo in Cusa. I think Memphis will be a loss though.

First game for UCF that they have to board a plane for (3 bus trips for other games off-campus) and with Marcus Jordan's status unknown...would it be best to sit him for this game...and allow him another 8 days of rest till UCF's next games on Dec 29th & Dec 30th?

Without Jordan, UCF will need a huge game from Clanton and the guard combo of Sosa and Rompza...plus keep their remaining bigs out of foul trouble.

Hope UCF can bring home a road win on Wed night!
