The BC home game is moved back 1/2 hour to 4pm due to delayed coverage of the Presidents' Cup golf tournament from Australia.

The ND Administration has disliked and fought against home night games for over two decades.

They don't like the idea that fans will drink all day and be rowdy and loud in the stadium during the game.

I am not kidding.....

They are also going to variable pricing, i.e. charging ten bucks a game more for big games like USC.

Too many jokes can be made here, but I'll just let this statement stand by itself.

This is pretty much the way all sporting organizations are running things these days. There are certain games that everyone knows are going to have the highest demand, so there's little reason why ND would let ticket brokers and scalpers end up taking all of the markup on the secondary market. MLB and NBA teams have variable pricing down to a science, with some teams like the San Francisco Giants using computer models that employ "dynamic pricing" where prices can change daily depending on demand (similar to airline ticket pricing). There are only so many football games in the NFL and college, so you probably won't see that level of variable pricing moves for that sport, but it's definitely something I could see major college basketball programs using.

I argue that the Navy game should be higher priced. Tough opponent for the Irish lately. :)
