Just curious about the rating scale, I assume it's out of 10? So albums like the Forecast are close to perfect? Just curious, I like the thread though. I blog on music a little bit myself, so I always enjoy the discussion.

Not a fan of that new mewithoutYou album, but I didn't care for the one before it either. I think they peaked at Brother, Sister. That Forecast record is a catchy summer listen, but I don't see it having much lasting power for me.

I am really enjoying the new Tallest Man On Earth, and the Shins put out a good record earlier this year. I'm looking forward to Gaslight Anthem next month.
