About a year ago a lot of people at WVU were told ECU was thinking about dropping the WVU series for a while till you guys get back your footing. I think skip Holtz has gotten some traction under you.

The Joke coach that punts in the redzone and defers both halfs is gone. We have to be better. We return about everyone next year. Should be a good game in Greenville.

I guess since the game is in Greenville, Holland won't cancel it.

and I guess since the game is in Greenville, not Cincy, there will actually be more than about 12 fans in the stands.

At least Cinci knows how to honor a contract and help future conference mates--a lesson scum Terry hasn't learned ECU enjoy your archrival Marshall

We have a home and home with Virginia Tech and NC State, and we didn't have to stab anyone in the back or cost ourselves a potential good conference position to do it!

There's nothing else to do down there so you better have more then 12 people. Lord knows they're not going down there for entertainment. . .

Five bowls in 7 years and a CUSA championship... Oh and UC beat ECU how many straight years before our Big East invite??? When will ECU learn you do not bad mouth those who will be doing the voting in the future. I'm glad you are improving but do it with some class. Tell us the attributes you have but leave out the scorn of being left out. It was not Cincinnati's fault. Terry Holland needs to quietly improve your facilities and all the programs then maybe you can talk. The more he and the fans trash others and do not uphold contracts the more votes will go other places. I was treated so well on my trip to ECU this has become very disappointing. Either way good game today by both teams and congrats WVU.

As Steve Logan say's "the Internet Jock Sniffers are the lunatic fringe of fans". I am sure we treated you pretty well on your trip. That said I think most of us have been pretty respectful on the internet.

Trust me, the vast majority of ECU fans have not been respectful towards Cincinnati on the net, especially when Big East rumors started flying.

Wow I did not realize that posters on this board will be voting on future BigEast expansion. I think coaches and Admins have learned a long time ago not to pay attention to the what kncukleheads on these boards have to say
As for UC if your feather in your cap is beating ECU 3 years in a row during one of the worst runs in our history then I applaud you 04-cheers
Last I checked we still own a 12-5 series advantage even after those three loses. And your 3-4 Bowl record is not exactly awe inspiring and the fact that UC has still Never....Ever....Ever.....Ever finished ranked in their football history. ECU #9 in the country and two other top 25 finishes and 11 Bowl games with a winning record to show for it. If that is not enough we will have over 40k fans in the stands next Saturday for a 1-2 ECU squad. How will UC do in attendance.

Hey Shorebuc- Shut your mouth and show some respect. You are speaking to the fans of a Big East team. Bow down to your master, the mighty Bearcats! Oh by the way enjoy those games against Rice and all the other west texas high school football teams you play!

Trip to Rice should be like a road trip to UC.....about 15k fans in the stadium except the weather will be warmer.
I will especially enjoy our trips and home games with VT,UVA,UNC,NCST,Navy and WVU for the next ten years.

Yet you're still on this board. That speaks volumes.

And last I checked Cincinnati has beaten East Carolina 3 straight times, including twice on your home field. One time we wrapped up a conference championship on your field, another time we showed mercy and took a knee on the 3 yard line. I don't consider that a feather in our cap. I consider the Big East invitation to be that.

And your 3-4 Bowl record is not exactly awe inspiring and the fact that UC has still Never....Ever....Ever.....Ever finished ranked in their football history.

Not as awe inspiring as East Carolina's ineptitude the last 4 years. We may not have finished ranked in the Top 25, but we're in a BCS conference! I'll take that over finishing ranked 10 years ago any day of the week!

ECU #9 in the country and two other top 25 finishes and 11 Bowl games with a winning record to show for it. If that is not enough we will have over 40k fans in the stands next Saturday for a 1-2 ECU squad. How will UC do in attendance.

God bless the past! I don't know how many will show up for UC. Apparently you can look into the future, I don't have that ability.
