I wasn't going to comment but your jab at the MAC got me. One of the mediocre from the "land of mediocrity" just beat your defending champs. What does that say about you? I was rooting for Ohio because they're a fellow MAC school but have nothing against the Big East but alot of the time I pull for the BE as long as they're not playing MAC teams. Just think that was an unwarranted slam against us.

I remember living in Charleston and listening to the carping and crying whe the ACC raided the conference and then the "we will be ok" line started coming out. No, you won't be OK.
I see the mountainqueers are plaing the mighty wofford Terriers  Thats got to help the out of conference strength of schedule.

uh, try re-reading the thread. he's from memphis. you know, from cusa? he's trolling here despite the fact that memphis got whipped by the scourge of the sec, the mighty mississippians.
the insult was directed at him, not the mac. if you get your feelings hurt here so easily, avoid reading threads like this.

you re-read what he then you said. He said that he was going over to the MAC boards to which you retorted "you'll find your true home there, in the land of mediocrity". If needed get someone to read both to you, or I might be able to draw you a picture if you want.

I think those media folks will be too busy waxing poetic about the alleged MAC bottom-feeder that just beat your alleged defending champion.
Not even Katrina could spin that one.

Considering how crappy C-USA has looked I guess you won't have to worry about them talking about you at all. By the way, nice job of making a class ****** out of yourself by joking about a hurricane that wiped out thousands of people including a number of people in your conference. Try spinning your way out of that.

Big difference....The Big East is supposed to be a BCS conference. The media is laughing at you.

How ironic is it to see C-USA fans on this board!? You would think that they would worry about taking care of their own business instead of piling on Pitt. Especially fans of teams that have lost FIFTEEN STRAIGHT GAMES.

Correction, the media is laughing at Pitt not the conference as a whole. I know the rest of the league is not going to like what I say but as long as Louisville continues to win than there will be no real pressure on the Big East.
We need to continue to win and hope that either WVU or UConn can step up to become a strong number 2. Right now the best bet IMHO is believe it or not the Huskies.

I guess the media is laughing at the Big 12 team since Oklahoma lost at home to TCU right? Seriously, I haven't heard ANYONE rip the Big East, but I have heard Pitt get hammered. But it's ok KNIGHTTIME, Central Florida is the butt of so many jokes it's understandable that you get giddy when someone else slips up. Funny though, two disasterous losses and Pitt is still far more respected then UCF. Wonder if anyone is laughing at Central Florida?

First of all, I agree that the Big East will be fine as long as Louisville wins. But it would be nice to take pressure off of Louisville, and a lot of heat off the league, to have someone else crack to the Top 25 and 2 or 3 other teams win consistently. West Virginia should win handily tonight, but win tonight and win at Maryland and West Virginia will be knocking on the door of the Top 25, which would be huge. But win those games and then take care of business at home against Virginia Tech and West Virginia would be in the Top 20, maybe Top 15, and that would be HUGE. So we need West Virginia take care of business big time. We need the other schools to win more consistently RIGHT NOW as well, particularly Syracuse, Pitt and Rutgers just because they have been in a BCS conference so long. UC, UConn and South Florida taking care of business right now would be a big boost since they're the new kids on the block in terms of program age, or in UC's case age of players period.

That does not change the fact that the BE is head and shoulders above cusa. Answer my question, what does that say about your conference?

Please tell me that a UCF fan is not actually talking about someone being laughed at. Remember, you guys went winless in the mac last year. BTW, you also lost to Buffalo. :D

So you say... But, what I see is Conference USA playing HOTLY CONTESTED GAMES with Big 12 and SEC powers, while the little East is playing HOTLY CONTESTED GAMES with MAC programs.

Without Louisville and TCU C-DOA is a joke. Enjoy Non BCS Status.

And cusa lost everyone of those hotly contested games, even to the bottom of the SEC. You guys did great against wiliiam and mary.
BTW, did you know that the lousy BE went undefeated against cusa last year? But a BE team lost to a Mac bottom feeder. According to the way cusa folks look at things, that means that the mac is a much better conference than cusa.

First off, OKLAHOMA SUCKS ****** THIS YEAR.
Two, Louisville and TCU are the two teams that DOMINATED that league in football the past 5 years. 4 out of the last 5 C-DOA titles either went to Louisville or TCU. What the hell has Houston done, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
