It is still hard for me to believe you are losing Huggins, so I know most of you must still be in shock. As a long term UL fan, I can tell you it is tough to lose the guy your program was built around. I still miss Denny.

I consider Pitino to be one of the best 5 coaches in the country, yet it still hurts thinking we forced Denny out the door.

I know you will get a quality replacement for Huggins. As much as I love to hate your program, this will not kill it if you do not allow it to.

I am appeaing to you to continue to support your athletes and university. I know many of you are talking about ticket and donation boycotts. This is probably the worst thing you can do as it will give your new dictator every excuse to hire a "cheaper" coach.

A much better protest method may be to take a nationally televised game, make sure all the tickets are sold, and then have noone actually attend the game. Can you imagine what Dickie V would say while covering a game from an empty arena?

Hang in there Bearcats. Time doesn't heal all wounds, but it sure makes them Bearable.

When I first saw the news, I was stunned. I can't imagine how tough this must be for UC fans. [Image: icon9.gif]
