Here is what the divisons break down too:
Division A
Connecticut
Georgetown
Marquette
Notre Dame
Pittsburgh
Providence
Seton Hall
West Virginia
Divison B
Cincinnati
DePaul
Louisville
Rutgers
St. John's
USF
Syracuse
Villanova
-- I'm not sure what the deciding factor for the divisons was...but geography doesn't seem to be it

For Men's Soccer the best BE programs are St. John's and UConn.
For Women's Soccer it would be Notre Dame and UConn.
Cheers,

If you want traditional powers take St. Johns, Connecticut, and in most years since joining the Big East you have to add Rutgers and Notre Dame in Men's Soccer.
In Women's Soccer the Rutgers squad shows signs of life in the years to come but they aren't there just yet. The traditional powers there are Connecticut and Notre Dame.
As for the Divisions the Big East site calls them A & B, while Rutgers and Connecticut's sites call them Red and Blue.
