What does it say about you and your obsession that EIGHTY-FIVE PERCENT of your posts have come on the Big East board? I am asking you this one time, tone it down. You are a guest in someone else's house, civil conversation is ok, but persistant hijacking of threads to turn them into smack wars is unacceptable.

People over the C-USA board say I'm obsessed, but I only post on the board to debate and discuss things that relate to the Big East and Cincinnati and such. I don't trash the conference like O.G. Eagle seems to like to do over here.

OG is no different than most USM fans and players, they already miss the Cardinals. I'm sure the fine young man in this newspaper article echos the sentiment of most of our friends in Hattiesburg.
I look at the recent conference changes like a nasty divorce. You hate each other with every breath during the proceedings but after the dust settles and the hard feelings subside everyone realizes that we had some good times together.
I have never made it a secret that I would love to see Memphis join the Big East and I feel the same about USM. I do know that Tom Jurich and Richard Giannini are good friends. I also know that Tom owes Richard a favor for hiring his best friend, Larry Eustachy. I would look for Tom to work behind the scenes to get USM an invite when the Big East splits.

Well if you click on your name it currently says that you do in fact post 86% of your post in this fourm. So I would guess that it was 85% when he posted this thread. So as usual you are just showing your butt on here when you make fun of people using actual facts.

Well the computer says that 86% of the time you post in here. I don't know which is right your post totals or the percentage. One of them must be wrong but I don't keep track of all your post, if you are going to rip on someone rip on the people that coded the board. But that is what he was going off of, either way, I don't care what you do.

The board percentages are based on how many posts fall into what category WITHIN a conference board. Eagle has 44 of 51 posts here in the Big East Conference Talk board out of ALL Big East boards. If you look him up on C-USA, it will say something else for that board. It's sorta a silly statistic to track if you ask me... tell me the percentage of posts in a board out of ALL posts.

And 51/306 is still pretty sad for a guy who has no affiliation whatsoever to the Big East and is here only to flame and talk smack. I know I wouldn't go out of my way to spend 17% of my time trying to argue with a group of people I am in no way associated with. I'll defend the conference from my own back yard, but am not going over to the C-USA boards, ACC boards, or anywhere else to whine because the Big East isn't getting its just desserts.

I would have no problem with OG Eagle posting as long as most of the time it is something constructive (even a negative opinion as long as it has some fact). Occasionally, he has a decent opinion. Too bad he spends most of the time with childish rants.

If thats what most of them are like then I sure don't want them in my conference. Not to mention they lost their academic creditation and seem to have some off the field problems as well. Memphis is on the up and up and have true rivalries with UC and UL as well. There's a big difference there. Also, Memphis is an easy plane ride away.

Rutgers is a great school academically. They would fall just behind Rice and Tulane in CUSA.
