What's new when it comes to football ticket sales at the four major colleges within two hours of Parkersburg - namely WVU, Marshall, Ohio U. and Ohio State.
The latest news from WVU concerns 2005 single-game tickets, which went on sale Tuesday, at $32 for home dates with Wofford (Sept. 10), East Carolina (Sept. 24) Connecticut (Nov. 2) and Pitt (Nov. 24) and $40 for Virginia Tech (Oct. 1) and Louisville (Oct. 15).
Season tickets too are still available for the six-game home schedule at $192 each, which will save the buyer $16 over individual game tickets. Plus, fans can take advantage of two mini-ticket packages at $110 each, one featuring East Carolina, Virginia Tech and Louisville and the other with Virginia Tech, Louisville and Pitt. In addition, end-zone season tickets will cost only $138.
Also, four ticket promotions are being offererd to Mountaineer football fans:
Wofford Family Day: Family of four will receive four game tickets and $15 in Mountaineer Bucks (redeemable for concessions) for $99.
East Carolina Parents' Day: Parents of WVU students are eligible to purchase up to four tickets at a special $27 price.
Connecticut 2-for-1: Coupons will be available at United Bank locations or on MSNsportsNET.com
Pitt on-line discount: For a limited time, buy Pitt tickets at wvugame.com and save $10 per ticket.
