My logo says Big America Conference. But people will call it the BAC or Big America.

And we have two or three Great American Steakhouses in El Paso. THAT would give these restaurants too much free publicity.

Call it the "We're not subservient to the Texas Longhorns" Conference, then invite TCU. They are due for another conference change.

We should avoid any name with a number in it. Once our membership changes from expansion or realignment, the name becomes obsolete or at least inaccurate.

I'm tired of all the bashing of the new conference.. but it doesn't help when a A-12 or whatever the new conference name will be has members starting threads about that conference on this board.
