I still haven't seen an official invitation and acceptance. Clearly Boise wants to get their 15 min of fame. How big of an ego trip does Boise need? Why do they refuse to commit one way or the other, unless they enjoy being in the limelight of CFB? The arrogance is breathtaking.

I agree completely. And another thing, if Pitt is leaving, why don't they go? It's not seemly to wait 3 years, not seemly at all.

I will tell you what I am thinking here is that Boise is trying to convince the MWC to pursue Houston as well as SDSU bringing in two big TV markets as well as Houston's BCS credits. Also worth thinking about is the travel for them keeping their others sports confined amongst the MWC instead of spread out in two conferences. If they could persuade the MWC to expand taking in say Houston, Southern Miss, Tulsa, UTEP with the possibilities of adding Tulane or La. Tech so that USM has a travel partner so to say they could possibly take the Big East BCS bid away. Think about it in 2 years the BCS is going to redo their contracts, and the Big East is a fish out of water gasping for air. There is NO guarantee these teams would be able to join in time so the Big East could show the powers to be of the BCS they are worthy, but the MWC could get these teams especially since they already have Boise and Air Force amongst their conference. Hell it wouldn't be that hard IMO to see BYU coming back especially if they were a BCS conference.

Boise State
Air Force
Houston
Tulsa
Southern Miss
Tulane or La. Tech ( One of these two to help out travel with Southern Miss )
UNLV
Nevada
SDSU
Fresno State
UTEP
SMU

Think about bringing in Colorado State and Wyoming as well as BYU to this fold. IF this could come about which I doubt, but if so KISS the Big East BCS bid good bye IMO.

Well we wouldn't even be thinking of some thing like this if Pittsburgh and Syracuse would have stood up and played their roles that destiny laid out for them amongst the Big East as leaders, but no they had to be followers down on Tobacco Road. Enjoy the ACC boys for that stench you smell is not tobacco even though it is brown just wipe it off your noses for it's embarrassing to the rest of us.
