Yea, I guess all that talk about adding UCF, SMU, Houston, Boise, AFA and Navy was just that. More talk. It's unfathomable how slow the Big East moves to make decisions and finalize deals. Reminds me of our Congress. To this day, this conference still hasn't officially added anyone since 2005 (not counting TCU for obvious reasons).

If and when this conference actually holds a press conference to announce additions it's going to be the day I finally see pigs flying over my house.

Boise probably hasnt settled all their issues (olympic sports home and western division) supposedly without them, nothing goes forward. Also AFA is still unsure.

Congress (and our judicial system) are supposed to be slow. There is a reason for that. You should like that more than you hate it.

Though I think the additions will be made within the month (do not hold me to this prediction which is based only on how much whiskey I've had to drink.)

All the other schools are REALLY (I mean REALLY?!?!!) waiting to announce together?
Boise is having THIS MUCH OF A HARD TIME getting a place for other sports?

Boise is probably asking for the moon and NOBODY (and I mean NOT ONE SCHOOL) is willing to move without Boise saying, "I'm in."

I think the problem is the Big East doesn't have the moon.
Or (more likely) the schools in charge (re: basketball) would rather let football die than put up with some of the demands. After all, they'll still bank as a basketball conference.

I applaud you for knowing when to leave the party. It is pretty evident that while the BE can refill the spot, they'll have a hell of a time replacing you.
