Dale is also bound to die. He does too much stupid stuff regarding Shane.

I'm glad Rick did that. I'm about ready to see Dale go. He's more or less useless IMO.

If this follows the novels, Dale becomes one legged Rambo real soon. He is the baddest of the badasses once they go you know where.

Haven't read the novels and don't plan to, I like the show too much and don't want "expectations". Where is "you know where"?

I'm pretty sure the Governor shows up next week. If he does, then I think they'd have to follow that story line.

He better. I have a feeling that those two guys that Rick shot were connecting to him or Merle.

If you look at the preview for next week, you will see a shootout at the bar. That has to be the Governor's people.

I understand your point about the novels. The TV show isn't strictly following it. At this point of the novels, Shane and Carol are dead and Sophia is still alive.

I want to see when Carl starts to break bad. Based off of the novels, the situation is coming where he may take advantage of a gun and a shot to the neck.

In the novels, he has already done something like that.

RE: OT: The Walking Dead
I was just about to completely give up after the stupid car wreck. Seriously, everyone on that show must have ran over a thousand walkers since the outbreak. She hits one in the middle of the road and wrecks? Not to mention they aren't fast so she would have seen it on that STRAIGHT road for like 2 miles.

However the quickdraw was badass. So I'll stick around for a bit longer. I just think there's enough ****** yet cool ways to die or be hurt in their post-apocalyptic hell that an unrealistic car wreck is very anticlimactic. I haven't read the books, so I'll just have to hope she gets eaten by undead for her crimes against intelligence.

I like the show. I like the genre. It doesn't need the injection of soap opera drama. So why put it in there?

If they are following the novels at all, the next 4 or 5 episodes will be all death and gore all the time and possibly some cannibalism.

I am a huge fan of the genre; it partly explains why I am still single LOL.

I have not read the comics, but I am of the opinion that the Walkers need to be mostly part of the backdrop. Hence, "The Governor" is needed...

I predict that Shane buys it this season, or in the early part of next. I could see him dying in one of the Governor's gladiator matches...

Oh, I agree that Dale is going to turn out being way more badass than most think...

It's simply the best show in TV and one of my all-time favorites.

In the comics, Shane is already dead at this point so whatever happens to him can't be predicted. I will also say that his role as the bad guy on the show will become less important once the Governor comes into the show. I could see him becoming a character like Sawyer in Lost or even the Governor's consigliere.

In terms of Dale, he has a history that hasnt been delved in yet and I'm sure that will come out once they go to the prison.

I wonder what T Dogg's role is going to be. He's so minor right now that I think they can afford to kill him off.

It's a good show. Breaking Bad kicks ass for AMC too. Game of Thrones (Read all those books so far; if Martin wouldn't take years before releasing the next in the series every time, I could die in peace), Spartacus, Dexter, Justified are shows I think are better. I was liking that show Terriers on Fx. They cancelled it. But I think the dude that got shot in the bar that last episode The Walking Dead was the sidekick on Terriers. He was like a criminal/Private Eye. Was a good show. The one Rick drew down on.

Another GREAT show if you haven't watched it is Person of Interest. It's on Thursday nights. Probably my favorite show on TV right now. Awesome story line, unique plots, Big Brother overtones, and general kickassery.

Don't know. He isnt really in the comics. He's more of a combination of minor characters from the novels. I think he is so minor that he won't die. If you look at those characters killed so far, they have created tension for someone. Carol's husband and kid, Otis, Merle, etc.

BTW, I am interested to see if they bring back that black man and his son(Morgan and Duane) that Rick meets before he goes to Atlanta. I would think they'd have to soon before people forget about them.

Game of thrones and Breaking Bad are great shows. The upcoming season is supposedly the last and when Walter is either going to finish out on top, get caught, or killed.
