lol, you didn't hear? GWC is raiding the ACC for Florida St and Clemson, Big 12 for Texas and Oklahoma, Big Ten for Ohio St and Michigan, and picking up Notre Dame. Oh, and there's talk that USC and Oregon are coming as well.... NJIT gets the last laugh!!!!!

To be technical, the GWC will still exist as a baseball and women's soccer conference, until further notice. Members in baseball, unless they soon get other homes, are NJIT, New York Tech, North Dakota, and Northern Colorado. Participants in women's soccer, unless they soon find other homes, are NJIT, Delaware State, Howard, and South Carolina State. No other conferences seem interested in any of those programs for these particular sports.

The Big East split isn't official until an actual announcement is made. A whole lot of intricate details need to be worked out in the next couple of weeks.

Wagner backed out of the MAAC, they were worried about fb, however Monmouth says they plan on staying in the NEC for fb only and are on good terms.
