If a frog had wings...
I wouldn't mind seeing this board get a little active. I know that there are already several established Marshall communities, but I'm not particularly fond of the Herdnation.com free board and Herdfans.com's layout makes me queasy (nice people though!). We've got some cool Marshall posters and I wouldn't mind getting an active board and some influence on this website for our school.

RE: If a frog had wings...
I posted on HN from 2002 till Sept 18th 2004. That was the day we played GA. At the same time The Who (WVU for those who don't know me, I will always refer to then as The Who) was playing Maryland. Maryland had just scored to go ahead and I posted the score. I was repremanded for doing so, told off like a 5 yr old being put in timeout and my post removed. I haven't been back since and when they moved to rivals I let my rivals account go.

I still read HF and will PM people there but I haven't posted there since Nov 2007. That was the time HN went to rivals and there was an influx of HN posters who are mostly neg. posters anyway. They started turning every thread into a bashing fest if it would have been about Mark Snyder, Royce Chadwick or Bernie Morris it didn't matter to them. It just got hard to post there.

I'll try to check this board every now and then. I lurk on HN and post occasionally. I'm on OF mostly because of the recruiting scoop. I post on here more than there though and don't post here often.

And Herd Haven, which has just moved to Scout is run by a moron named Aaron Perkins, who cannot seem to have an intelligent conversation...

It really is a rip off, especially when the info they have usually becomes public on one of the other boards (or the newspaper) soon after (usually a day) they get it.

AP, you either agree with him or you are wrong. HerdHaven is just a split really from HerdNation, that I know.

Herd Haven is such a joke, I first started posting there in 09 then quit right before the season, they gave me a headache.

If I read your nickname correctly, we may have tore up the same turf at Marshall at the same time - I was there from 73 through 76.

Nice to see the UAB fans visit! I'm looking for a though, hard fought game there this year. Welcome!
