Power to the consumer: T-Mobile returns to true unlimited data
03-woohoo

I left Verizon for Sprint, and baffled their customer service when I said I refused to give them one more penny since they did away with unlimited data, even though I was grandfathered in. Apparently voting with your dollars -- even if doesn't directly impact you -- is a foreign concept to them.

I've been happy with Sprint since ... while their 3G isn't the fastest, it is unlimited which I value when I'm on the road for long spurts. Also, I happen to have a WiMax phone, and when I'm in a 4G WiMax zone, the speed is *impressive*. I pulled down up to 25 MBit symmetric in Charlotte at night.

Well, after pissing off everybody by eliminated unlimited data and trying to merge with the unholy borg of AT&T ... they're trying appealing to customer demand. WHAT A NOVEL IDEA!!!

I plan on switching to that T-Mobile plan as soon as I get a decent GSM phone. If I had the money, I'd get a Galaxy Nexus and switch immediately; alas, I have to wait.

Tmobile has to be the cheapest because that is the only thing that they have going for them. Their phone coverage is the worst of all the carriers. They can easily offer unlimited data because they know with their spotty network there's no way someone is going to be able to use that much bandwidth. They don't have the Iphone like all of their competitors either.

Out of the entire state of Alabama, I've only had one problem with T-Mobile, and that's in an area of the state that everyone has issues in. Outside of that, I never had problem one with them. The only reason I left was because the regional carrier I went with (Cellular South/C Spire) was cheaper. I'll certainly be going back to them, though.

Ass! 03-lmfao

No; that area was in Coffeeville, Alabama; a little hole in the wall town in the ass end of nowhere...actually, in Clarke County - which is in the ass end of nowhere.
