This sucks...

Knew Den was sick but didn't know it was pancreatic cancer. Den kept boneyardbanter sane as Randy doesn't do much with the site anymore. Den will be missed.

He was the glue that held a lot of things and mini-projects together.

Sorry to hear.....My uncle just lost his battle with pancreatic cancer almost 2 weeks ago. Pancreatic cancer is a tough tough thing to go through. Prayers for him and his family.

Wow. I was wondering what he was going through. I'll be praying for he and those that love him.

His daughter is a freshman at ECU. :(

I knew he was sick but did not know the details. I hate to hear this. My prayers for him and his family as well as his many close friends.

Den was very, very active with women's sports at ECU. He also had a very nice blog called ECU Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.

First met Den at the PapaJohns Pizza Bowl in Birmingham 2006. He is one heck of a Pirate and through his initiative the ECU messageboard family has raised impressive sums of money for several campaigns.

Yeah she got accepted into the Honor's College. She wants to be the next Dr. Chitwood.

God bless Den Dickerson. He is a friend of mine, we've watched many a Pirate victory together. This is a truly awful day.

A better place awaits, brother.

Its very sad to hear this. I've talked to Den several times through private messages and he has always came across to me as a great person. My thoughts and prayers to out to Den, his family and Pirate Nation.
