Ok I've kept my mouth shut till now. Tiger Lane was F@Cked up this past weekend. When I got there on Friday night was when I noticed that every section of Tiger Lane (every 4 parking spaces in a section) was spray painted. Not with fraternity letters or names but a number. That was not done by an individual but someone (SHC) selling sections of parking. Every spot in Tiger lane already has a wonderful brass plate with that spots number. To come in and spray paint every section with a number on asphalt that is less then 3 years old is stupid. Then when i do get into to my Tiger lane spot (which was clean the week before). I find trash all over the place. Did I find chicken bones... yes I did... did I have a big freaking grease stain in my parking space.. yes I did. Did I find massive ant hills in my tailgating area.... Yes I did.

In the past I have taken care of my spot. If there were bugs/ants I treated the area. If there was area where the sod had not grown together I filled it in with sand. Except for 2 games of the year that is my tailgate spot that I entertain friends, family, and the media. That is were my 3 month child, his mother, and family tailgate at. If its racist to say that my area was screwed up. Well then I racist. But my area was screwed up. On Saturday I dumped a bag of ant killer on my tailgate spot before my kid and family got out to Tiger Lane. I'm invested not just into the University of Memphis but also into that area in which I tailgate. I could talk about years in the past but I just going to talk about this year.

Tiger Lane has held the Memphis in May BBQ Contest, Spring Game BBQ Contest, Battle of the Bones
BBQ contest, Biker rallies, and other events. But i have never seen the area I tailgate in the shape it was in.

But for 2 games a year I lease that spot. So it's my family spot to entertain and tailgate at. Per the HH and the city I have rights to that spot unless I do not renew that spot. If I do not renew then its open for Tiger games to anyone. Till I do which will be awhile. That spot for Tiger Games is my Family tailgate area.
