Everyone needs to read this to get the definitive word about UTSA's bowl situation this season so that speculations can be clarified:

"Officials from the Western Athletic Conference and the NCAA have quashed speculation that the UTSA Roadrunners could qualify to play in a bowl game this season.......WAC spokesman Dave Chaffin said the Roadrunners could win a conference title and a trophy “but they can’t play in a bowl.” Chaffin said Texas State can qualify to play in the postseason this season under the revised eligibility format, but UTSA cannot. He said Texas State is eligible, potentially, because it is in its second year of reclassification to FBS status. UTSA isn’t eligible because it is only in its first year of the two-year process."

I wasn't real worried about the possibility anyway. lol

It bums me out. I wasn't expecting a bowl eligible season at the beginning of the year but the boys look good. It would have been an amazing feat for them to go to a bowl first 1yr transit.

Either way would love to hear the Media pundits explain why a 12-0 UTSA can't go to a bowl game....I know 1 in a million 5 down, 7 to go.
