Thoughts on UNT-MTSU
Welp, I didn’t see that one coming.

I really thought UNT and MTSU were going to slug it out to the finish tonight. I didn’t see a 38-21 MTSU win coming, especially not one in which the Blue Raiders led 31-0.

This was a train wreck anyway you look at it. UNT had a chance to jump into the Sun Belt title chase, but was toasted by one of its long-time league rivals. And to make matters worse, Brelan Chancellor is out for the year with a broken collarbone. A ton of other guys left the game with injuries that will be evaluated later. It seemed like half of UNT’s linebackers and defensive backs left the game at one point or another.

Ivan Delgado was suspended for one game. That didn’t help things.
