We'll be used to it next year after the BE refs have been screwing us all year. Fortunately we won at USF last weekend but the refs made us score 3 times at the end of the game: Sales catch (he was in), marked the ball on the 1 foot line--QB sneak and got in but Holtz called a timeout (as the play was running) and got the timeout, then 3 seconds mysteriously disappear, had third chance and we scored on a 1 foot pass in the corner.

RE: Catdaddy was right all along (about SOME things)
If anyone had bothered to do a little better research they would have found that Carolina had to play 3 opponents that came had just come off of bye weeks in 2009.....THREE in the same season (Florida State, UVa, and Virginia Tech).

I'm calling BS on this entire thread.

Good for you ... GT is playing two in a row coming off byes to end its miserable season (UNC and Duke ... SURPRISE SURPISE at who got the byes!).

The ACC scheduling office is a joke ... and the further you go back the higher the evidence will mount for that.

You mean they can call fouls on teams other than Clemson in ACC play?

Not often, but since UNC is not in the national title hunt this year Coach Williams agreed to one foul. Enjoy it - you may not get another one for awhile.

Unpossible. All the folks I know that wear Kmart Blue swear that not only is UNC a yearly national title contender, they would most likely be at worst a 3 seed out of the NBA East every year.

I realize I might have dated myself since most youngsters associate Kmart with the big red K they use now, but back in the day Kmart used an unmanly shade of blue as their signature color, much like one of our ACC brethren

Sadly, this is the best I can come up with

telll them about the "blue light specials".

For that matter, maybe you could tell them about S.S.Kresge's? When I was a very little boy, there was still one of those in Anderson, SC.

As usual your jealousy has clouded any sense you might have. Everyone with any intelligence at all, knows that Carolina Blue is Pantone color #278.

I know I'm dating myself, but I still remember the cafeteria in the old K-mart I went to- that had the BEST Milkshakes out there....

We didn't have one of those around here. In fact, we had to drive to Cayce just to go to Kmart, as Lexington at the time was a tiny little town.

Cuseroc, I'm not much older than you (I'll be 50... someday). The blue light special was inside K Mart, but S. S. Kresge was the predecessor of K Mark (that's what the "K" stands for, IIRC). Oh, and yes, both Kresge and later K Mart used to have a full-service grill.

I seriously had never heard of Kresge. You really do learn something new every day.
