Orange beat #9 Cardinals
Syracuse downed Louisville in the Dome, 26 - 45. Louisville is ranked #9. Finally, a mistake free game shows what Syracuse really can do.

...or did you mean one Mizzou...

Yes, one to get a bowl. Win out and win the bowl game and we finish 8-5.

i think cuse is headed in the right direction, if you guys upgrade your facilities a little(not sec type )you should be able to field a 7 to 8 win team on a regular basis

From what I'm seeing, 3rd place in the Atlantic division is within reach (as long as TOB remains at NCSU!)

SU has pretty nice facilities now, and they are still upgrading as we speak. If you are talking about the Dome, well it has been renovated in recent years, and is still undergoing improvements. But we are a long ways off from a new stadium. The Dome is a solid facility. Northeastern recruits are still reasonably excited to come play in the Dome.

Excellent win...had to listen to most of it on Sirius. Dome looked decent today...maybe 40k actual...still need to get the bandwagon fan back. I just wish we could paint the benches Orange...too much Silver.

Huge win for SU and ACC:

1) UL was ranked 10/11 in AP/USA polls.

This knocks UL out of top 10, probably out of top 15 (?)
This assures FSU and Clemson, both in top 10, will be ranked ahead of top Big East team.

2) This deflates the opportunity of Big East to have a top ranked team in the Orange Bowl and rationalizes the Big 5 conferences, including the ACC, having their own contract bowls to the exclusion of the Big East.

3) Huge win for SU from a recruiting and national branding perspective as a team on the way back. Coach DM likely to gain a new contract. Team likely gains a bowl opportunity, perhaps the Pinstripe, further establishing SU as NY's team.

4) 2d year in a row that SU decisively defeated top ranked Big East team: last year SU beat WVU.

Apparently y'all like to take the top ranked Big East team behind the woodshed every year before you go.

I'm liking the trends that both Pitt and Cuse have put on this year. Keeping the good work going is a necessity.
