So what are you looking to gain? My point is you are expressing view that have nothing to do with the medium we are in. You agree with me on that. So why do you keep fighting for views that you yourself do not believe belong here?

I never agreed that my views do not belong here. Why do you keep assigning beliefs and agreements to me that are not in the text I am writing? I acknowledged that the message boards are not required to be moderated in a fashion consistent with the quotation. I would prefer it if they were. Is reading comprehension really this difficult for you?

Also you have answered none of the questions I posed in my previous post. Why is that?

As an admin/mod of another forum, each user agrees to terms when signing up. Rules were broken, bans were given, and people complain. The Internet is serious business.....and for cats.

I think Smitty is doing a fine job. If I wanted "CAAZone-caliber" verbal jousting then I'd go lurk over there. Although I always found Jollay funny...

Being moderator is a thankless and no-win type of job. We should be thankful that Smitty was willing to take it on. No one is perfect but I think he's put in a pretty solid performance.

I do know Smitty. He and I have varying views on non-sports stuff. But, I voted for him and will go to bat for him over and over again. He probably did not want to have this board become a CAAZone clone! I agree that some folks must have no apparent other life. How can some posters write unbearably long posts on three different boards all hours of the day. Smitty will keep this a board a large percentage of us will be happy to be a part of. Oh well..I've dangled a participle so I need to go to bed. Viva La Smitty!

Agreed. If a new one was needed, this thread wouldn't have been allowed.

Certainly couldn't hurt to have two functioning independently, just to ease some of the stress.

It should be noted that I didn't make the title of this thread. Smitty did when he moved these posts from the "Murray State game" thread to the off topic forum.

Smitty is doing fine in a position that is unpaid and not as easy as it appears.

+1 for keeping Smitty. Nothing but class, fine job of moderating. I give him a lot of credit for actually doing his job. Let us all remember back to the CAAZone just a short while ago. THAT...is not what we want..

I'm new here so my opinion is to be taken with a grain of salt.

I'd say the closing of the Fire Blaine Taylor thread b/c "Razor and Sirloin" were fighting was ok, could have been handled differently, but good enough IMO.

Reading this thread from the beginning I hope that Ol Dirty really wasn't banned b/c he talked smack about Liberty. It seems that was the case or he wouldn't have posted that knowing it would get him banned. While I'm sure I wouldn't have agreed with what he said, I hope a moderator would be more adult than that... maybe he was a problem in the past, I dunno... not going to spend the time to look that far into it.

I understand ya'lls last site was a bit of a battleground, so I guess do what you gotta do to keep the peace.
