As well they should be... Tulane is not the "western" addition they've been looking for.

Tulane is a lot more western than Rutgers, who they replaced.

Look for 1-3 Westward additions soon.

Which is like saying from Boston, South Carolina is farther north (and closer) than Florida. It doesn't make all that much of a difference. Boise would be looking for anything on or west of the Rockies.

Someone out west will join the BE, no idea how far down in quality they'll dip. Fresno, UNLV & AFA reportedly said no. I'm sure San Jose St or New Mexico would say yes.

Except Tulane is terrible and Rutgers is actually a good team. If you're going to give us teams that aren't really western give us Southern Miss or Tulsa. At least memphis adds basketball. Tulane is completely worthless.

If Bosie is still stupid enough to continue with the BE membership, I dont know what to think. They need to head back to the MWC or lobby for PAC12 inclusion - which is a long shot.

That being said, I would be shocked if Tulsa doesn't bolt for the BE as a compliment to Boise in the west. Tulsa has a good program and deep pockets.

I think they would have a better shot at getting into the Big XII over the PAC-12. They need to come to their sense, realize that Mountain West is the better option for them of the non-AQ's, and head back with SDSU in tow. Who knows maybe they can talk BYU in to coming back to the Mountain West with them.

Hey, look! A retard!

It will all come down to the TV contract. No TV contract negotiations while Big 10 is still talking to ACC schools. Once we know that domino stabilized for sure, then Boise and SDSU can figure out what the difference in revenue is between a Big C*USA national conference and a regionalized MWC.

And if Boise and SDSU move, we can expect even more dominos to fall, yay!
