I'd be fine with any of these but rank them in this order:

1. Coast to Coast Conference - C2C
2. Metro Conference - MC (old school attachment to this one)
3. National Athletic Conference - NAC (ok with this one, seems a little generic)
4. Great American Conference - GAC (seems a little hokie)
5. BIG 16 - B16 (not original)

I like the Metro Conference fine but the makeup of the conference really does not represent that with so many small-market teams.

A true Metro Conference would be: Houston, SMU, Rice, Tulane, Memphis, Cinci, USF, UCF... maybe FIU, Temple, Akron... Southern Miss.

Actual large market teams that make some geographic sense.

Probably wouldn't hurt to rebrand it "National Metropolitan Conference" if you're stretching from San Diego to Philadelphia, I suppose.

After all, the National Biscuit Company took an equally boring name and turned it into NABISCO and look where it is today.
