Lets see how this thing plays out before we start spitting hellfire at each other. This is a great board so lets hold tight on the unpleasentries until we actually know what is going to happen.

I haven't been visiting this board as often as I used to, so I'm behind on the posts. I'm trying to figure out why NBE fans would be opposed to the Big East creating an all-sports western division? Don't we want to have a more "national" conference with increased exposure in more time zones?

Everyone does need to. This is only the 3rd of 4 every 6 month power plays by Bobby Kustra where he declares himself free agent and everyone must come up with offers, he has another one of these planned for June 30th, 2013, 1st anniversary of the 2nd power play by Bobby Kustra where he declares himself free agent and everyone must come up with offers

I agree it's a power play. Pretty obvious, since Kustra did the same thing in June. I don't hold it against the fans, though. I do think it's ironic that some fans complained about BYU wanting special treatment.

No one is blaming the fans. The fans have no say in any of this. The school Prez do. As for the fans 90% of NBE fans are for a West all sports division. We do not know that Boise wants that. It is pretty clear Boise is dealing with both sides, and that is their right. I for one would not give them their TV rights, They are in or they are out.

The only problem with this board are the trolls from the MWC. They inflate the value of the MWC beyond reality and denigrate the Big East.

I don't go to their board and piss all over their schools (which I could easily do). I see no reason why they need to do that to us over here. They're just petty, little people.
