New to the whole college message board thing, so I'm just trying to get a feel of perceptions out in the world.

Just what is the perception of ULL in CUSA? Obviously, the rank and file UL fan would love membership in CUSA, but there is a certain amount of frustration in the whole conference realignment thing and how ULL fits in.

Would we be a decent addition?

Honestly, the only thing I know about UL is from what I've seen the last couple of years in bowl games. Pretty good first impression.

you would be a fantastic addition. at C-USA, we have a strong tradition of helping schools build their programs.

the latech guys will feel differently, of course.

I would be saddened to see utep leave. I would be saddened to not play them any more.

I know that you guys are nearly on the west coast, but you are a quality program.

Would love ULL in CUSA BUT I'm not a fan of going past 14 members. I'd rather have you guys than UNT tbqh.

ECU fans that went to the bowl game generally had positive things to say about ULL fans and I was impressed with their football team/program. Well coached and very athletic.

I attended a NO bowl against UNT a few (many?) years ago. those guys travel. and their chicks are hotter than lava.

Very poor.

Wait who has the hot chicks UNT or ULL? I thought we added FIU for the chicks. C-USA might be the most "talented" conference in America!

ULL would be a HUGE improvement to CUSA over Tulane. No doubt about it. USM could actually go to a road game at ULL and not have more fans there than the home team.

Ton of respect of UL and their fans. You guys brought a great crowd to the Rock last time we played. Except for Nebraska, in state schools and the lone '99 Tulane game, by far best traveling crowd since I've been a fan.

I like your coach. I've been following Hudspeth's career since he was at UNA. He even ran a couple of the same 5Ks I did in the Florence area. He certainly turned UNA back around into being a Division 2 powerhouse and certainly hated to see him go. I wish we would've hired him after the '06 season.

I've been to a lot of away games and they were the nicest fans I've ever experienced.

USM has played the Cajuns many times in a very old series. I would love to see them in C-USA but I doubt that is going to happen soon, and now with the conference use to be the Big East seemingly exploding, who knows what schools will be in what conference.

I have friends that are Louisiana alums and would love to have them in. Improving in several programs, baseball is already strong and always looking for an excuse to visit Lafayette.

If UTEP remains in C-USA but others leave, I would want ULL and Ark St both added. I like west C-USA as it is but ULL and Ark St would be very good additions. The atmosphere at ULL would certainly be far better than Tulane.
